MACON,GA(KBTV)- The Bibb County Sherriff’s department is investigating a pedestrian accident.
The accident happened around 12:30am Monday morning. The accident took place in the 1100 block of Gray Highway. A witness claims the driver was headed toward Shurling Drive, and did not see the pedestrian walk in her lane.
The 51-year-old pedestrian, Alice Tolbert, was transported to Atrium Health by ambulance for treatment. Tolbert has serious injuries, but remains stable. The female driver was not injured during the accident.
No charges have been filed against the driver. This accident is still under investigation.
