MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who shot a driver in traffic Saturday evening.
It was reported that just after 5:00pm, a white man driving a a green Ford Expedition pulling a fishing boat was speeding and changing lanes aggressively on Pio Nono Avenue near Spencer Circle. The driver pulled out in front of another car driven by a 60 year old man and instantly slammed on breaks. The victim was able to go around the expedition and that is when the driver pointed a rifle at his vehicle and fired multiple shots, then sped off. The victim was struck in the back and drove himself to the Atrium Hospital. He’s in stable condition.
The boat attached to the expedition is described as either brown and white or orange and white in color and a larger fishing boat.
