MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Bibb investigators are searching for answers after a 30 year old man was found shot to death in Macon Thursday afternoon.
UPDATE 5/26/22: 27-year-old Brian Christopher Horton Jr. has been arrested and charged with murder along with other warrants in different cases. A crime stoppers tip led to his arrest. Horton was arrested around 2pm at an apartment at at 2050 Merriwood Drive. He has no bond.
The shooting happened around 1:12pm at the River Park Apartments, located at 720 Tidewater Circle. After responding to a shots fired call, deputies arrived on scene and found 30 -year-old Keonta Quintez Rouse of Macon unresponsive in front of building 30. Coroner Leon Jones pronounced him dead on the scene.
