MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a man wanted in connection to a fatal shooting in Macon.
UPDATE 5/25/22: Jackson has also been charged with murder.
UPDATE: Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators made contact with person of interest just after 12:00 p.m. Jackson met with Investigators at the Sheriff’s Office Investigations Office and was questioned then later arrested. He is being charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and is being held without bond. Jackson also has a Probation Violation Hold. More charges are pending.
The shooting happened early Saturday morning just before 12:30a.m. located at 4151 Log Cabin Drive, Windy Hill Manor Apartments. 27-year-old Gabrilla Harris, of Macon was shot. She was taken to the hospital for treatment but died.
Now investigators are searching for 28-year-old Corey Deshawn Jackson, of Macon for questioning. Jackson is six foot three inches tall and weighs approximately one hundred and ninety pounds.
