MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A man is behind bars after he was arrested for drugs and guns during a during a search warrant on Friday.
It was reported that members of the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force was serving a Probation warrant on 38-year-old Cornelius Abram Jr., in the 2000 block of Companion Drive, when they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside of the home. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and Gang Investigators issued a search warrant and began the search.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit members seized a handgun, approximately 12 ounces of Methamphetamine, 3 lbs. 6 ounces of marijuana, 32grams of oxycodone, 26 grams of crack cocaine, and around $1800.00 in cash.
Abram is currently being held, without bond, for the charges of Probation Violation -Felony, Possession of Schedule or Schedule II Controlled Substance with the Intent to Distribute, Receipt Possession or Transfer of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon or Felony First Offender, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies, Purchase, Possession , Manufacture, Distribution, or Sale of Marijuana, and (2) counts of Trafficking in Cocaine, Illegal Drugs, Marijuana, or Methamphetamine.
