MACON,Georgia (KBTV)-A unique game of BINGO is helping families prepare for natural disasters.
The Macon-Bibb County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) wants to remind everyone to have a plan and have all of the tools they will need in the case of an emergency. With Hurricane Ian’s path heading north, the EMA is asking people to have their emergency kits ready with help from BINGO!
Now until Friday, September 30, people can play Emergency Kit BINGO and get the opportunity to win prizes and gift cards. To win, people must have all the items listed on the BINGO board, take a picture of all of the items, and drop the picture into the comments of the original post on the EMA’s Facebook page.
“This is a fun way for families to come together and play a game, while also doing something very important,” says EMA Director Spencer Hawkins. “We urge you to take this time to prepare and have a plan.”
