Houston County Schools Celebrate Family Engagement Month in November

HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia (KBTV)- Families play an active role in a child’s success, and Houston County wants to make sure they’re acknowledged.

Throughout the month of November, Houston County will celebrate families involvement in the student’s academic achievements. Houston County’s Title I schools will be offering family activities throughout the month.

November 17th serves as National Parent Involvement Day. Project Appleseed established National Parental Involvement Day in 1994. Ten million family members across the nation participate each year.
