Drive by shooting leaves one person dead in Macon’s bird city neighborhood

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drive by shooting that left one person dead Saturday night.

It happened shortly before 10 PM. in the 1700 block of Wren Avenue in front of a house. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the victim, 25-year-old Corey Maurice Hall, and several others were standing by a parked car when a vehicle drove by and started shooting. Hall was shot. Bibb deputies arrived on the scene and found Hall unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Atrium Health Navicent where he was pronounced dead. There is no information about the vehicle or suspects.
