MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Piedmont Macon focuses on mental health in a lot of services offered.
KBTV’s Dr. Karlisha Booze talked with grief counselor, Franchetta Trawick about the importance of the grief sessions offered weekly. Trawick says the sessions gives others a sense that they’re not alone.
“It feels like a big hug,” says Maiesha Clark who attends the session. Clark’s daughter passed away and she has been part of the group since. She says people should consider the sessions and get the help because there are people who are dealing with the same grief.
