MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A store clerk is in critical condition after he was stabbed during an armed robbery.
The robbery happened just after 8:30pm at the Solo Mart, located at 4555 Mercer University Drive. According to reports, the store clerk was taking out trash when he was approached by a suspect wearing all black. The suspect demanded money from the clerk and stabbed him in the leg then ran away. The clerk was taken to Atrium Navicent Health and is in critical but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
