MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drive by shooting that left a man dead Saturday night.
The shooting happened just after 10:00pm in the rear parking lot of 3229 Mercer University Drive. Bibb deputies say a group of people were in the parking lot grilling when a car drove up and fired multiple shots. 24-year-old Trenton Walter Harris was shot and died on the scene. A 25-year-old male and 23-year-old were taken to the hospital for treatment by personal vehicle. No other information is available at this time.
