MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A Macon man is in critical condition at the hospital after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed on the interstate Thursday evening.
The crash happened just after 6:00pm on I16 Eastbound just before the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Exit Ramp. Bibb deputies say a Honda Civic traveling east on I-16 lost control and went into the construction area and hit a piece of construction equipment. The driver of the Honda, a 23-year-old male, was taken to Atrium Health Navicent and is listed in critical but stable condition.
The traffic Collision is under investigation.
