MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Students at Howard Middle School recently began a charity to support the Brookdale Warming Center located at 3600 Brookdale Avenue.
The FBLA and DECA students raised more than $1,300 and will be presenting the check at a press conference Wednesday, March 31, at 11:15 a.m.
Macon-Bibb County Mayor Lester Miller, Superintendent Dr. Curtis Jones Jr., Howard Middle Principal Tony Jones, and Steve Bell, Director of the Warming Center , will be in attendance.
As a final charity offer, students and the present dignitaries will help prepare and serve food to the residents of the Warming Center.
