MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s is trying to find out what happened Sunday night, leaving 3 people with gunshot wounds.
UPDATE: 46-year-old Percy Welch Jr. was pronounced deceased at Atrium Health Navicent hospital.
The shooting happened in the 3800 block of Cherry Avenue around 9:48 p.m. According to reports, the 3 were in the backyard of a house when they were shot. They were taken to Atrium Health Navicent by Ambulance.
The victims are 46-year-old Percy Welch Jr., 37-year-old Tavares Devon Lavender, and 38-year-old Althonio Leon Carlisle. Welch is in critical condition. Lavender and Carlisle are both listed in stable condition.
