(KBTV) – The month of November is known as Lung Cancer Awareness Month.
Lung Cancer is the 3rd most common cancer in the United States. According to the US National Institute of Health, more than half of people with lung cancer die within one year of being diagnosed. Medical professionals say early detection has been proven to dramatically improve lung cancer survival rates.
