MACON, Georgia (KBTV)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the report of an armed robbery that took place early Wednesday morning at a local food market.
The robbery happened at Tanya’s Food Market around 1:11a.m located at 1208 Jeffersonville Road. Deputies say a masked man entered the store, pulled out a knife, and demanded money from the clerk. The individual then took an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen fleeing the store on foot in an unknown direction. There were no injuries during the incident.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, black face mask, black gloves, with red and white basketball shoes.
