MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that happened Friday evening.
The shooting happened in the 1200 block of Rice Place just after 7:00 p.m. When deputies arrived on Rice Place, they found a 44-year-old male in a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was taken to Atrium Health Navicent where he later died. There is no information on the suspect or what led up to the incident at this time.
