MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – An apartment fire that claimed the life of two people is under investigation.
Around 2:21am on Tuesday, Bibb deputies responded to a fire at EZ Green Apartments located at 3775 Houston Avenue. When they arrived on scene, the building was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters found 2 victims, a man and a woman, dead inside of the building. Their identities have not been confirmed at this time. An autopsy is scheduled to confirm the cause of death.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time but the incident remains under investigation.
