BIBB COUNTY, Georgia (KBTV) – A local law firm is donating funds to help students and staff in Bibb County.
Adams, Jordan & Herrington, P.C., has donated $5,000 to the Bibb County Education Foundation. The check will be presented Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Professional Learning Center, Martin-Whitley Educational Complex, located at 2003 Riverside Drive in Macon. $4,000 will be earmarked to purchase coats for students and $1,000 is earmarked for the work of the Bibb County Education Foundation.
The Bibb County Education Foundation was established in May 2021. It is a nonprofit organization supported by donors and partners committed to enhancing educational opportunities for students and staff within the Bibb County School District. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors composed of community leaders, educators, and school board members. The board is responsible for the direction and activities of the Foundation.
