MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a Macon boy.
UPDATE: 12 year old Joseph Swaby has been located and safe. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the Bibb County Board of Education Campus Police that 12-year-old Joseph Swaby arrived at school this morning. Swaby’s mother has also been notified.
12 year old Joseph Swaby has not been seen since he left for school Wednesday morning. Swaby’s mom says she last saw him as he headed to the school bus stop. She also stated that checked with the school and confirmed he attended all classes. After he did not return home Wednesday night, his mom filed the report. It is unknown if he took the school bus home. Swaby’s mom says it’s unlike him not to come home. Swaby lives in the 700 block of Tidewater Circle.
Joseph is described as a black male. He is approximately 5 feet 8 inches in height and weighs around 125 pounds. Joseph was last seen wearing a navy blue, “Tommy Hilfiger” jacket, khaki pants and a gold colored shirt.
Anyone with information of the whereabouts of Joseph Swaby is ask to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to leave a message for the “on-call” person’s investigator or you can call Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
