MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A man died after he was hit by a car in east Macon Friday evening.
The fatality happened in the 1200 block of Gray Highway just after 7:30 p.m. Bibb deputies say 63-year-old Broderick Jerome Linder, of Macon was walking across Gray Highway near Sanford Drive when he was struck by a Chevy Equinox traveling south on Gray Highway. Linder was taken to Atrium Health Navicent where he was pronounced dead. The driver, a 22 year old from Gray, was not hurt.
This collision is still under investigation.
