MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a person that was fatally shot in the 3100 block of Columbus Road.
UPDATE: The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Troy Eric Sandifer.
The deceased person identity has not been revealed as of yet. Around 4:18am Monday morning, a 911 call came in to the Macon-Bibb 911 Center about a person down. Deputies and investigators arrived on scene and found an individual dead. Preliminary investigation revealed that the person had been shot.
