MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Three men are behind bars after a shooting Sunday afternoon.
The shooting happened around 4pm on Walnut Street near its intersection with Forest Avenue. According to Bibb deputies, 17-year- old Jaleel Janeko Fryer and his brother, 17-year-old Jameel Jameko Fryer were walking down Walnut Street and started shooting at a house on Forest Avenue. During the shooting, Jaleel shot his brother Jameel. While Jaleel was checking on his injured brother, two of their family members arrived and saw that Jameel had been shot. The family members then pulled out guns and started shooting at the same house. Jameel Fryer was taken to the Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance and he is listed to be in critical condition.
Bibb investigators interviewed witnesses and suspects. After the interview, 17-year-old Jaleel Janeko Fryer, 18-year-old Jalin Quavon Cantrell Fryer, and 20 year old Jarohn Leontavis Hawks were arrested and taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.



Jaleel Janeko Fryer is being held, without bond, for the charges of (6 counts) of Aggravated Assault, and Discharge of Firearms on a Property of Another. Jalin Quavon Cantrell Fryer is being held, without bond, for the charges of (5 counts) of Aggravated Assault. Jarohn Leontavis Hawks is being held, without bond, for the charges of (5 counts) of Aggravated Assault.
