MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that happened at a local cellphone store Thursday evening.
The robbery happened just after 7:00pm at the Metro PCS, located at 844 Pio Nono Avenue. Bibb deputies say the robber entered the store with a gun and demanded employees give him cash from the register. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, he ran away on foot. No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as a black male last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, brown pants, black and white tennis shoes, with his face covered. The suspect was also carrying a black and red bookbag.
