MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A truck driver lost his life after he lost control of his tractor trailer and died on the interstate in Macon.
The collision happened on Interstate 16, westbound, near mile marker 4 on Monday around 7:34a.m. It was reported that 47-year-old Clinton Tinsley of Ellabell Georgia, was traveling west bound in a tractor trailer on Interstate 16 when he lost control. The tractor trailer collided with a guard rail and then overturned.
Tinsley was taken to Atrium Health Navicent where he was later died. This fatal traffic collision is still under investigation.
