MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – Human remains were found Monday morning in Macon.
The Macon-Bibb 911 Center was notified at around 11:53 a.m. that the remains were found on Riggins Road near its intersection Weaver Road. Reports state land surveyors discovered what was believed to be parts of a human skull in a ditch alongside of the roadway, while working in the area.
Investigators arrived on scene to investigate and search the area.
The remains will be sent to the GBI Crime Lab to be examined in attempt to determine gender and identity.
