Bibb County, Georgia (KBTV)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators charged an individual with the death investigation of Troy Eric Sandifer. The incident occurred in the 3100 block of Columbus Road on January10, 2022.
It was reported that on April 13, 2022, Denzel Cortez Rutledge, age 26, was taken into custody by Investigators in connection with an Aggravated Assault that occurred on Adams Street, back in March.
Rutledge was already in jail for the Aggravated Assault. Investigators gathered evidence and identified Rutledge in connection with Troy Sandifer’s death investigation. Investigators served Rutledge with a Murder warrant while he was in jail and will remain in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center for the charges Murder and Aggravated Assault. Rutledge also has a hold from Houston County and does not have a bond.
