MACON,Georgia (KBTV)-The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a local bank robbery.
The incident happened at the Central Georgia Regional Credit Union located at 2040 Ingleside Avenue. The robbery was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center around 9:05 a.m. May 5, 2022.
Bibb deputies say two men went in the bank, and one of the men flashed a gun. He demanded money and received an undisclosed amount of cash. The two suspects left the scene on foot. They were last seen running towards the back of The Abberley at Ingleside apartment complex.
The two suspects are black men. The first suspect was last seen wearing a facial covering, a black hooded jacket, black pants, and black shoes.
The second man was last seen wearing a facial covering, a black hooded sweatshirt with a “Reebok “ logo on the front , black pants, and black shoes. Both men were was also wearing sunglasses and gloves.
