MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A 16 year old boy died at the hospital after he was shot in south Macon Monday night.
UPDATE: Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested 21-year-old Ja’Kobe Alonzo Archie.Archie met with met with Investigators at the Investigations Division on Monday night and was interviewed about the incident. He was taken to the Bibb LEC shortly after. He’s being held without bond, for the charge of Involuntary Manslaughter.
The shooting happened around 8:09pm in a parking lot of Friends Food Mart, located at 3350 Houston Avenue. It was reported that a group of males were standing around when 16-year-old Kymelo Early was shot. Early was taken to the Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance. Coroner Leon Jones pronounced him deceased at 8:59pm.
