MACON,GA (KBTV)- Bibb County Sheriff’s Department has made an arrest in connection to the death of a 27-year-old woman.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies were responding to an unrelated call on Courtland Avenue when a homeowner flagged down the deputies. Deputies entered the home and discovered 27-year-old Brittany Wright fatally wounded. Deputies detained 35-year-old Idris Oladipo Alaka on scene. Alaka was transported to the criminal investigation office to be interviewed.
Alaka was later transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, charged with murder, and aggravated assault. He is being held without bond.According to the Coroner’s office the closest living family has been notified.
