MACON, Georgia (KBTV) Two men are dead following an early Thursday morning shooting in Macon.
UPDATE: The deceased individuals have been identified as 61-year-old Milton Jolly and 41-year-old George Brooks.
The shooting happened in the 3500 block of Morris Ave just before 1:30AM. While responding to a person shot call, that’s when the two victims were found. Deputies found a 61-year-old male outside the home suffering from a gunshot wound and a 41-year-old male inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound. Both men were taken to the Atrium Health Hospital where they later died.
The names of the victims will be released once family have been notified. Bibb deputies are continuing to investigate what led up to the shooting.
