MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal collision that happened early Sunday morning.
The accident happened just after 01:00 a.m. on I75 southbound near the Pierce Avenue off ramp. According to reports, a Toyota Tacoma was traveling north in the I75 southbound lanes, near the Pierce Avenue off-ramp, when it collided with a BMW 328I going south.
The driver of the Toyota Tacoma 35-year-old Kyle Chase Patterson, of Macon, is in critical condition at Medical Center, Navicent Health. The driver of the BMW 328I, 20-year-old Hamadoun Oumar Diallo, of Dublin died on the scene.
