Macon teen shot in drive by shooting, listed in critical condition

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drive by shooting that happened Thursday evening in south Macon.

The shooting happened just before 7:00pm in the 4200 block of Elkan Avenue. According to Bibb deputies, a 16 year old along with a group of people were walking on Elkan Avenue at Adger Road, when a car drove by and started shooting. The 16 year old was shot multiple times. He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in critical condition. No one else was hurt.

There is no information on a suspect or description of the vehicle. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751 -7500 or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
