MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – If you walk inside the Tubman Museum in Macon, there’s a new exhibit that just might catch your eye.
The museum unveiled Tyler Perry’s exhibit which sits on the museum’s second level.
The exhibit features Perry’s journey from Childhood to present, tv series, and awards.
Harold Young, Executive Director of the Tubman Museum says, “Out of all the awards no one has never given him an exhibit and he deserves it.”
The museum features art, history, and culture but this new exhibit is one that many say is very inspirational.
“It’s so many wonderful tidbits in there that we feel can appeal to anyone and everyone,” Publicist Em Fergusson adds.
Museum staff members say this is the first time a museum has featured an exhibit of Tyler Perry, telling his history.
The museum opens to the public on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 9am to 5pm.
