Macon, Georgia (KBTV) – The pinkest party on earth is now over.
Festival goers say they anticipated a spectacular time and that’s just what they had. From the fair rides, food, and live entertainment, The 41st Cherry Blossom Festival was a success. Many people say they anticipate on next year’s festival.
Educators from around the middle Georgia area were in for a special treat Sunday evening. 9 Entertainment and other entertainers hosted the annual Teacher’s Appreciation Event at the Terminal Station in downtown Macon. There were giveaways, live entertainment, food and AJ the DJ on the 1s and 2s. Attendees like Dr. Stacie Barrett, Assistant Professor at Fort Valley State University, says she appreciates the event and believes it’s always good to allow educators to enjoy themselves outside of the school.
On air personality, DJ Gentleman George says he and other organizers appreciate teachers and call them “heroes.”
