MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred early Thursday morning in the 1000 block of Burke Street.
According to authorities, the call came into the Macon-Bibb County Emergency 911 Center just before 1 a.m. Thursday regarding a person found unresponsive at a residence.
Deputies responded to the home and located a 43-year-old man on the front porch. Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
