Man wanted for questioning in Macon homicide investigation

A man is wanted in connection to a fatal shooting that happened Friday morning.

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man wanted for questioning in reference to Friday morning’s homicide.

Bibb deputies responded to a 911 call of a shooting around 11:51 a.m. on Friday. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Kenneth Wendell Snead Jr. was fatally wounded during an altercation. It happened at the Blossom Hill Estates Apartments, located at 4006 Mercer University Drive.

Snead was taken to Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance where he died.

Now, investigators are looking for 17-year-old Robert James Ottman Jr. for questioning. Anyone with information in reference to this incident is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
