Bibb County, Georgia (KBTV) – Burdell Hunt Magnet School has been recognized for achievement of a high standard of implementation of Leader in Me and Stephen Covey’s book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.”
On June 12, 2021, the school was notified that it had officially recertified as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School. Every two years, each Leader in Me Lighthouse School must pursue this recertification to maintain its status in the program.
“It is an honor to receive Lighthouse Recertification, as this is a prestigious and high-profile validation of our hard work to empower our students to be leaders at school and home by setting goals, tracking progress and living a balanced life through modeling ‘The 7 Habits,’”says Principal Tanya Allen. “As we progress as a Lighthouse School and continue to grow ourselves, we want to highlight our students for the amazing things they can do. We are committed to lighting the way of excellence and adding positive value to our community.”
