WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (KBTV) – One person is dead and four others are in the hospital after a shooting at a party in Warner Robins.
UPDATE 9/12/21 A second arrest have been made. A 15 year old has been arrested. More arrests are coming.
UPDATE 9/10/21: A murder warrant has been served on a 15 year old male. More arrests are coming. No other information will be given until all parties are in custody.
UPDATE: The deceased has been identified as 15 year old Tanyla Johnson of McDonough, Ga. Johnson had been visiting family in Warner Robins. The other victims wounded are a 16 year old male who was shot in the hand, a 17 year old male shot in the heel, 17 year old female shot in the legs, and a 18 year old female shot in the cheek.
The shooting happened Saturday night at Mauldon Court and Dunmurry Place at 9:54pm. According to police, they received a call from a neighbor stating there was a large party in the area and the roadways were blocked. When police arrived on the scene, someone in a car leaving the area starting shooting and shot several people. Medical professionals and other police officers were called to the scene.
One of the victims died at the Houston Medical Center and two other victims remain at Houston Medical with non life threatening injuries. Two more persons were taken to Atrium Health Navicent in Macon for treatment and are doing okay.
