MACON, Georgia (KBTV)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office have charged two suspects in connection to a homicide that occurred on April 17, 2021. The victim, 55-year-old Timothy Williams was shot during an armed robbery at the corner of Columbus Road and Helon Street.
The first suspect, 20-year-old Rahkon Marketh Howard was located in custody at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. Howard was arrested for another robbery July 12, 2021 that happened on March 8, 2021 at the Houston Avenue Grocery.
On September 22, 2021, investigators served Howard with additional charges for Murder and Armed Robbery warrants in connection to William’s death. Howard now faces charges of Murder, Armed Robbery, and Robbery. Howard remains in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, without bond.
The second suspect charged in connection with the Homicide investigation is 29-year-old Andre Lamar Davis. Investigators identified Davis as the second suspect and had warrants issued for his arrest. Davis was located on September 22, 2021 where he was taken into custody.
Davis is also charged with Murder and Armed Robbery. Davis has a separate charge of a Parole Violation for Firearm charges and is on parole. Davis is also being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, without bond.
