MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – An investigation is underway after an east Macon Family Dollar store was robbed Thursday evening.
The robbery happened at the Family Dollar located at 4471 Jeffersonville road around 10:03pm. According to deputies, the robber entered the store with a gun and demanded money from the clerk. He received cash from the cash register and the safe, then ran away. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black hoodie, tan pants, gloves, and a mask. If anyone has information about this incident, they are urged to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at (478) 751-7500, or the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
