MACON,Georgia (KBTV)- An early morning traffic accident left one pedestrian dead in Macon.
The accident happened on the Spring Street Bridge, near the Exxon gas station. The accident was reported to the Macon-Bibb 911 Center around 5:28 a.m. Friday morning on April 22, 2022.
Bibb deputies say the pedestrian was in the roadway when he was hit by a Chevrolet truck heading south on Spring Street. The pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene by Bibb County Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley.
No one else was injured in this incident. The name will not be given until the family has been notified.
