MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 15 year old boy whose body was found in a wooded area Tuesday morning.
UPDATE: 57-year-old Algie Frankar Bryant has been arrested in connection to Roberts’ death. Bryant is currently being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, without bond, for the charges of Murder, (two counts) of Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony.
Bibb deputies responded to the call around 11:36am. It was reported that 15-year-old Ashton Roberts was found near the 4100 block of Pinson Street. Investigators discovered that Roberts had several gunshot wounds.
Roberts will be taken to the GBI Crime lab, so that an autopsy can be performed. No other information is available at this time.
