MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A woman died after she was hit by a car trying to cross a street Friday night.
The accident happened on Pio Nono Ave in front of O’Reilly Auto Parts just after 7:00 p.m. According to reports, a 40-year-old female was walking on Pio Nono Ave near Harris Road when the female attempted to cross the road and walked into the path of an Infinity G25X, driven by a 46-year-old man from Macon. The female was taken to Atrium Health Navicent where she died.
The deceased name will be released once family is notified.
