Woman arrested and charged during narcotics search warrant

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – A woman is facing multiple charges after she was arrested at a home during a narcotics search.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, along with members of the U.S. Marshals Southeastern Fugitive Task Force, served a narcotics search warrant at a residence that is located in the 700 block of Ash Street. During the search, they found an AR-15, a .45 caliber handgun, a quantity of ecstasy, approximately 2.2 ounces of marijuana, digital scales, and packaging material for the illegal narcotics. 36-year-old Callie Hamilton was taken into custody for outstanding warrants and charged in connection to the service of this narcotics search warrant.

Callie Hamilton is reported to be a First Offender and is not allowed to possess a firearm. Hamilton was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center and charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Purchase, Possession, Manufacture, Distribution, or Sale of Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies, ( two counts) of Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon or Felony First Offender, and Failure to Appear- Felony. Hamilton also was charged with a Felony Probation Violation Warrant. Hamilton does not have a bond.
