MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a man dead and his wife and child injured.
The shooting happened Friday night in the 300 block of Thoroughbred Lane at 11:01p.m. Bibb deputies were responding to a call of a person shot in the area and found 52-year-old Pinal Kumar Patel, his wife, Rupalben Patel and child, Bhakti Patel suffering from gunshot wounds in their driveway of their home. All three were taken to Atrium Health Navicent. Mr. Patel was later pronounced deceased by Deputy Coroner Luann Stone at the hospital. Mrs. Patel and her daughter are listed in stable condition.
