WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (KBTV) – The Houston County board named a new principal at Houston County High School during the February 14, 2023 board of education meeting.
Jay Jones, who currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Houston County High, has been named Principal of Houston County High. Jones says, “I am humbled to have the opportunity to serve the teachers, staff, students, and the surrounding community of Houston County High. The potential future success of our school is boundless, and I look forward to working with all involved to ensure that Houston County High School continues to Expect Excellence…and BEAR DOWN!”
Jones has taught math at Houston County High and Veterans High School, where he served as mathematics department chair. He has been an educator since 2005.
