WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (KBTV) – There’s a new principal at Kings Chapel Elementary School but it’s a familiar face.
Shelley Shillcutt was named as the next principal of Kings Chapel Elementary School during the Houston County Board of Education meeting held on February 14, 2023. Shillcutt has served as an Assistant Principal at Kings Chapel since 2018 and has been part of the Houston County School District for 20 years.
Shillcutt says, “I am blessed to be able to continue as a part of the Kings Chapel community. Being selected as the new leader of our school is a tremendous honor. I am grateful to Dr. Scott and the Board of Education members for their confidence. I look forward to working closely with the students, staff, and families of Kings Chapel to continue the tradition of excellence.”
Shillcutt began as a teacher at Westside Elementary School and also taught at David Perdue Elementary and Langston Road Elementary. In addition to a classroom teacher, she has served as a literacy coach at Shirley Hills Elementary and Linwood Elementary.
