HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia (KBTV) Bus safety is one of the many concerns in Georgia, and one Perry Middle School student is using her art to bring awareness and show appreciation.
Bella Dollar is an eighth grader at the school, and has been selected a statewide winner in the 2022-23 School Bus Safety Poster Contest.
The theme for the year was “Safely rolling to my destination.”
Dollar rolled her way to the top of the competition. Winning first place in Division 3 and $100 by the Georgia Association for Pupil Transportation.
She marks the second consecutive win for Perry Middle School.
