MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two suspects in an aggravated assault incident that happened at a gas station on the 1800 block of Pio Nono Ave in Macon.
Around 5:30 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report about a “physical altercation” in the parking lot of Citgo. Carl Bruce Thomas, a 59-year-old Macon man was shot during the altercation.
Thomas was transported to Atrium Health and is in critical condition. He is the only person reported to be injured at the scene.
The suspect is believed to have dark skin, wearing a black shirt (with designs) and black pants with a backpack. Investigators want your help locating a white Nissan Altima with tag number RKL1919, which was seen leaving the area.
The incident is still under investigation.
